Hows about banishing the long, dark nights of winter. I hate them!

I'd like to nominate barbed wire for entry into room 101. My horse was cut his leg open on some discarded barbed wire yesterday. The wire had found its way into his paddock from a neighbouring farm. Poor baby. I know that cattle have to be contained but this kind of fencing can be too brutal.

Oh, poor Moony. I hope he's OK. Yes, no hesitation whatsoever on this one. I saw a child injured by barbed wire recently too. It's banished!

MOLD!! It has been so rainy here that I now have mold in my closets and bathroom cabinets! If you need me, I'll be scrubbing walls and washing everything I own. Oh, and did I mention that I am allergic to mold?

Oh, and did I mention that I am allergic to mold? Apologies, Londonmews, I somehow missed your post. Hope you got rid of the mold without too much irritation!! Yes, there's a place for mold in room 101. In it goes! *creek of a door then a loud click as it slams shut* I'd also like to banish socks that slip down inside your walking boots. I had to borrow a better pair from a friend half way through a ten mile hike yesterday as I could bear the chaffing of the 'disappearing' ones no longer. *massaging sore heels with medicated cream*

Here's another suggestion.... Veterinary surgeons who seriously rip off animal lovers! I took my dog, Hector, for his annual check up last week and whilst happy to pay for his examination, refused to take the tube of cream the vet wanted me to use on a patch of irritated skin. I looked up the inflammatory cream on the internet and found a list of its healing components. When I spoke to my local pharmacist she came up with an identical alternative which cost just 1/3 of the price. The cream worked well and Hector's skin is healed almost completely. I'd advise everyone else to check for alternatives too!
