The word of the day in our house is "Vapid." My man used this word to describe his glass of whisky after I added too much ice. I suspect I'll be feeling pretty vapid by Sunday due to a serious lack of sleep. Three great gigs in my diary this week: The White Elephants (Saxman's jazz band), Take That and tomorrow night The Stereophonics headlining at the Isle of Wight festival. YES!!!!!!!! ;D

So, does vapid mean "weak"? Like a weak drink?
interesting. I'll be using this as my word of the day. ;D
"my spirits have gone VAPID as I have no FP gigs in site."

Great use of "Vapid" there, Jen! Two words for us here today, another actual word from Peter who described my sense of humour as "insidious" (seemingly harmless yet possibly deadly) ;D and a non-actual, "heckspectorant," used by Francesca to describe my state of mind whilst waiting for my mischievous dog named Hector to return from a bolt across open countryside.

Today's word is: salsafied. An ingredient in Mexican "sushi" rolls--salsafied cream cheese.
