I think pretty much if any tv station/programme is getting enough requests for a particular video then the programmer usually looks into it - the main thing is accessibility to the video so it is up to the record company to ensure that every tv station or relevant programme receives a copy - they are not likely to go to too much trouble to find it themselves. It all depends on the record company really - and then the fans to ensure that they contact their local (or just favourite) music show or programme that features music videos and ask for it to be shown. So just contact the biggest tv show you can think of that is relevant for your country and mass request the new Fiction Plane video when it is released ;D OOOOOOHHHH - I cannot WAIT!!!!!

Can any radio or TV station play FP's music and videos or do they need to have been notified officially about releases by BB? Obviously, it is good to beat up every station imaginable. However, it is probably wisest to find the bigger stations in your area, request the song/video. If they come back to you and say they don't have it, then you can easily pop an email into our "favorite...hhahahaha" record label to see if they can get it into their hands. That way there is no excuse not to play it. ;D |

Additional information about the video release:
According to a myspace blog posted earlier today by Bieler Bros Records, "The video for Fiction Plane's latest single, "It's A Lie" will debut on an undisclosed date in the coming weeks. The early buzz from people who have received a sneak peak at the video has been huge."

Yeah, the "undisclosed date" threw me as well.
My guess is that they can't release it to the fans until its added by at least 1 official outlet, like MTV EU. Maybe it's been more difficult than anticipated, which is what is creating the delay...

I'm surprised that BB's news item wasn't followed up with: FP will then be releasing a new album SOMETIME and there will be a tour in the future. The label is like a fortune teller. Stating the obvious without being specific. |
