I was walking through the fallen leaves in the woods here today and the song Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward came to mind. Since then it has been going round and round in my head.
What was the last non FP song that posessed you for a spell and why?

Isn't that the song he wrote for the War of the Worlds CD? I haven't heard it for ages. Your musical taste is so varied Bee.
Golden brown coincidentally could be linked to autumn but that isn't the reason the song by The Stranglers is in my head. It's because it is being used in a UK TV advertisement at present. I saw the ad' last night. Have no idea what it was promoting but I have been singing the song all day!

I'm obsessed with Michael Jackson's Thriller today due to a halloween party I went to. We all dressed up like zombies and did the graveyard dance. It was brilliant fun! ;D

Yvie, I LOVE that song. It evokes wonderful memories for me relating to the Sumner family. I listened to Crazy relentlessly throughout a weekend during which I first met Trudie Styler and her children Mickey and Jake. We were attending a fundraising presentation together in a hotel on the English Devonshire coast. I was obsessed by Seal's album then. Will have to go and find my copy and play it right now. Thanks for the reminder! ;D

Imagine if you could have foreseen then that Jake would mature into the director of Fiction Plane promo video, or that you would be promoting them, or that Joe would front a band at all...

What was the last non FP song that posessed you for a spell and why? PRIMUS' "Mr. Krinkle" usually makes me forget what I'm doing. The string bass line in that is really mesmerizing. |

I was teasing the harem girls who post here by suggesting it may be one of them, but yes, I do actually know the belly dancer behind the screens. It was partly due to meeting her that our FP Harem fan group was so named. She tongue-in-cheekedly likened us to the members of a modern day harem - a group of women who finds themselves united in the devotion of one love. In our case the love of FP!!! LOL! ;D Shame we don't actually get to see her in person rather than just silhouette. She's lovely!  |
