Now that 2008 is about to become past-tense, we are wondering, what was your most unforgettable or meaningful memory of FICTION PLANE during this year?

Hmm....Seeing the first Snoop Show at the University of New Hampshire was a highlight for sure. Who would've known the tour would end up being a huge success? The boys seemed weary after that first show, but I'm glad it turned out for the best.
Seeing the guys on this last tour in France and Amsterdam was awesome. The crowds were just amazing. Site seeing and following the tour was so much fun. Great friends, cool cities, and fabulous music. Who could ask for more?

I think mine may be the second Snoop show's in Austin @ the Backyard. Good friends to hang with in line, sightseeing in a fantastic city, and an awesome FP and Snoop show too! You can't beat those last dates on a tour. Seeing the crew take apart Pete's drum kit (and bringing the second snare back so he could finish the song) was priceless!
Another unforgettable run was probably the Cincy/Bloomington run. Again, fantastic company to hang with in Cincy and probably one of the best FP headline shows and crowd responses I've ever in the US. Bloomington... memorable just for the "Bros before Hoes" Cigarette story. That one will live on in my memory for a long, long, time!

Hmmm, let's see.....
Well, Joe described the Paradiso gig as "the best FP show ever" and I cannot disagree with that. The guys were all on great form and clearly really enjoyed the gig themselves. For me the gig offered the chance of a lovely five day break in Amsterdam with my FP Harem friends, made extra special by being able to chat to the guys and see them perform in a great venue. So all in all an awesome experience.
But I have very fond memories of the UK gigs with The Feeling also. I suppose I just enjoy going from town to town, gig to gig here at home to support the guys, as I always have. Although the guys' sets were short as support band they were still well worth seeing of course. All were excellent but those in Birmingham and Newcastle stand out in my mind, probably because I was able to do some promotion for the guys in these towns and met such wonderful people along the way. FP themselves and The Feeling also helped make it special by making me so welcome. I have some wonderful backstage memories to cherish. Check out my review 'Feeling good with FP in Brum' in the gig reviews section if you haven't already. ;D

i can't pin down my best memory. My best week in 2008 was the Southern California part of the Unity Tour. We started with FP at the Viper Room and my run ended at Chula Vista. Way to many stories to tell here, but the gist: Set list, broken drumstick, Susie-Sue shmoozing a fella so we can have his front row spot, raspberry martinis (i usually don't like martinis so who knew), sunshine, watching the Snoop crowd was funny, good company and conversation, Sunset Boulevard, eating at the famous Rainbow Bar in Hollywood, Chez Liz, being fully searched at LAX on my way home, and the list goes on.

There were a few "rock and roll" looking people, but I didn't recognize anyone. I wanted to sit in booth #16, John Belushi sat there for his last meal of split pea soup, but I couldn't tell which booth was which. We sat in the big round booth in the corner.
I feel really dumb.................I don't know who Lemmy is.

I've never been there, so its all foreign to me. I feel really dumb.................I don't know who Lemmy is. Singer for Motorhead, somewhat of a hard rock legend.

Oh!!! For some strange reason, I know who he is now. Actually, my older bro liked Motorhead and that's probably why I know who it is.
Nah, I didn't see him.

Lemmy Kilmister. That would've been cool.
