So hard to find people to play bandminton with here. I would have to say that my biggie this Xmas was an Xbox 360. Been addicted to it since Day One. |

I was psyched to finally get a GPS. Have yet to try it out, but I'm very excited!

My dog had to have major surgery, so my Christmas gift was to get to keep my dalmatian, Ditto. $$$$$$$$
Then the day after Christmas, my husband decided to trade in his motorcycle and get us a new Prius! ;D I love it. I still have the SUV for the snowboarding trips up the mountain since the Prius doesn't really handle well in snow.
So........I got a Prius for Christmas.

I recieved a months membership to a local fitness center. Have never really excercised in my life,(the center is right across the street from where I work, so I really have no excuse, do I?) so I'm excited to see if I like it.
I also gave myself a keyboard to get more music in my life. Now I just have to learn to play it!

Wow! How does a cat get diabetes?? What do you feed a diabetic cat? How do you test the blood sugar?
So many questions, I know.

My fav gift was some new super soft microfiber sheets. It makes it so difficult to get out of bed though. Never felt anything like it in my life they are wonderful.

Wow! How does a cat get diabetes?? What do you feed a diabetic cat? How do you test the blood sugar? I have no idea how a cat can contract diabetes, but mine did. It's weird giving him an insulin shot every other day, but he seems okay with it. I just limit what he eats, and he has to go for periodic blood sugar tests to the vet. I heard that a lot of people put their animals down when they contract diabetes, because they don't think they can handle the responsibility, but it's not really that bad. Sometimes, cats can actually cure themselves, because there is something in them that can jump-start the insulin. Fingers crossed! |
