Woo hoo, how exciting! This is great exposure for FP, they are on a CD with some very popular bands! Hopefully this will help their popularity in the US!

Just got my copy today. Wow, that is a really great version of "Drink". It is honestly very different from the other versions of the song that have been previously recorded.

I just heard it as well. I agree with smithwicks, it does sound a lot different that the other recordings of "Drink", which is something I didn't think was possible! There are two guitars and Joe sounds very emo on it. It's cool, it's different and I don't hate it

It's great news they have been included in the CD - it all helps raise the profile! As someone who does not live in the States - is this a popular radio station and would these CD's normally sell well? I'll have to try and nab myself a copy! And does anyone know any of the other artists listed on the CD?

I'm not an emo fan, but you have always had good suggestions in the past so I'll give it whirl. Who am I kidding. Of course, I'll like it!

As someone who does not live in the States - is this a popular radio station and would these CD's normally sell well? As I don't really know how radio works in Europe (I'm assuming British radio stations transmit all over the UK, Dutch stations all over Netherlands, etc.), it is very different in the US. There really aren't any "national" radio stations. Everything is regional. Like this Edge 103 station in Phoenix will only transmit in AZ, but not all over the state. America is a lot larger and segmented than most people realize. So, regarding the saleability of the CD, I really don't know. Judging by the other stations in Phoenix, this one does look pretty big, so I would guess that the CD won't be around long. Perhaps someone from Phoenix could shed some light?

For those who would like to relive the entire interview, with both songs performed, Edge 103.9 has archived the audio clips on their website here. Enjoy!
