I agree Michelle! I really like this version...you can hear Seton and Pete harmonizing in the background. Thanks for the link! Pretty cool sounding, right? I'm glad I got the CD! Now I need to track down that other CD with "two sisters" on it.

I just heard it as well. I agree with smithwicks, it does sound a lot different that the other recordings of "Drink", which is something I didn't think was possible! There are two guitars and Joe sounds very emo on it. It's cool, it's different and I don't hate it ?? really? I'm not an emo fan, but you have always had good suggestions in the past so I'll give it whirl. Who am I kidding. Of course, I'll like it! lol... It's not that emo sounding. I meant that Joe sounds a lot more emotional on it them on the regular version of "Drink". Emo was the best word I could come up with at the time!

And does anyone know any of the other artists listed on the CD? Well, FP opened for the The Bravery last spring and played at least one show with Cold War Kids. Both are pretty popular over here. I think Carolina Liar is one of those up and coming alt rock bands, kinda like Vampire Weekend. The Gin Blossoms used to be huge in the mid to late '90s, but I didn't even realize they still around to be honest! The rest of the bands I'm not too familiar with but think they are pretty well know to a teenage audience.

I've also heard of Gorgol Bordello and Slightly Stoopid. And the Gin Blossoms are from Phoenix, so they are probably pretty popular there still. All in all, this seems like a great compilation!

My CD came in the mail over the weekend! Joe does sound a bit "breathy." I like it though.
Also, I have always liked Sometime Around Midnight by The Airborne Toxic Event, but I never knew what the song was called or the band so double yaay! I was pleasantly surprised.

I've also heard of Gorgol Bordello and Slightly Stoopid. Are bands really running out of creativity with names? The name Slightly Stoopid sounds like an Alice Cooper tribute band.
