Seton posted this bit of info this morning at his website: BACK IN N.Y. We are back in the studio writing our new record in New York. We have locked ourselves away in Manhattan for the next week or so. Pete has found an old graffitied theatre that has a great amount of space in it for making noise. Its run by good people and next door has some of the best pizza I have come across. The venues and bars are close so its a pretty ideal environment for us. This Friday we are also playing the legendary Arlenes Grocery. I think there are quite a few bands playing that night so get down there early if you can make it. We hope to debut some new material if its ready and if not it will just be good to play in New York again. We have been splitting our time between New York and London which has worked out great so far. We seem to write well in New York and then demo up the songs back in London. As always the writing process is totally unpredictable but I think there is some interesting stuff being cooked up.

I am disturbed by this statement of Seton's: "We hope to debut some new material if its ready and if not it will just be good to play in New York again." If it's ready? I hope it's ready... not that I mind hearing their old stuff but I am hoping for some NEW music too! Even if it's it's only one itsy bitsy song...

I would think that they would play a couple of "not so ready for the public" stuff...look at what happened w/Cut the Brakes. They tweaked that song throughout the tour. Liz

I would hope by now the guys have something that would be ready for a debut. I'm with Michelle...I wouldn't mind hearing old tunes, but a new one would be fabulous.

Pete said in today's interview with Sher that they have two or three new songs that they may play... Yeah! Can't wait!
