I'm embarking upon my first trip to Australia next month. I've wanted to go for as long as I can remember so I'm truly excited at the prospect. Can't wait to visit Sydney Harbour and Uluru! Australia... SOOOOO Jealous! I would love to go there! I can't wait hear about your trip! |

Ooohhh, Cannon Beach, I didn't know Goonies was filmed there. While living in Tacoma I visited there and Mt Hood where we went sled riding. That was weird, the beach and snowcapped mountain, all in the same day. Of course it was too cold to swim. My sis in law lived in West Linn. I remember many drives down I 5 and across the Columbia River. Would love to visit the Pacific Northwest again. You'll love the scenery Nicole! Especially Mt. Rainier from the interstate. Have a blast you two!  Fiction Plane should definitely do a show in Portland! One of the many reasons I love Portland, breakfast at the beach and hit the snowy mountains after lunch (if you hurry a little). My favorite stretch is driving from Portland east to Hood River along the Columbia Gorge. Amazing. Definitely bring camera on that drive. |
