We (nurses, volunteers and patients) have been busy all week decorating our childrens' wards and making costumes. Tomorrow we will be throwing an afternoon Halloween tea party and be entertained by storytellers and a witch performing spooky tricks. The children are greatly looking forward to it, and I, the smiles on their faces. ;D

Tre, you crack me up! I like the sound of the beach gathering. I love the welsh coastline. Don't get drunk in charge of a lit pumpkin lantern or lost on the way home! Wish we lived closer to one another.

I have just arranged a bat watching evening for next Sunday with a bunch of friends. We will be able to get close up and personal with free-flying bats of several different species, including giant fruit bats. Many thanks to a conservationist colleague of mine for obtaining permision for us to do this. I became passionate about bats whilst working in tropical rainforests and so am delighted by this opportunity! ;D

Sounds nice. I'll come along, thank you. We have bats in the outbuildings where I work. I like to watch them fly at night. They will hibernate for winter soon though I think.

Ha ha ha. I'm impressed that you remembered your environmentally friendly transport ladies! I had a busy day taking photos of everyone on the Isle Of Skye for our local newspapers. It was fun to be a part of all the celebrations.
