You're right, Drinksmithwicks. FP have frequented quite a few different venues, mainly in north London, over the last few years, but The Bull & Gate is definitely a favourite for both the guys and the fans. They are almost guaranteed a sell-out gig there. This venue is in the heart of the city so it will be interesting to see how things pan out for them there. Tuesday isn't the best of nights, but I'm sure all the die hard fans will be there to support the guys. Let's hope they gain some new fans also. I believe that Coco Sumner plays at The Hoxton Bar so perhaps she can give her big bro' some tips!  |

Yes, there have been flare-ups between members of the two main fan groups in the past but I am not aware of any true animosity. I have openly disapproved of what I consider to be obsessive or inconsiderate behaviour but this does not make it a group versus group thing. I would disapprove of such actions by members of my own group, equally, and voice my opinions, equally. I have high regard for many of Nikki's group. I enjoy chatting with them at gigs and would see them socially elsewhere if geography allowed. When instigating the FP Harem I aimed to bring together a group of like-minded folk from around the globe to share a passion for a little-known band and work together to support and promote it. I am very proud to have achieved this. I have been criticized for electing members by personal invite rather than merely the click of a mouse, but as we have always communicated primarily by personal e-mail and good old fashioned post, this has been a necessary security measure. This does not mean that I am apposed to friendships with others fans however; indeed I relish them. Aside from the Fiction Plane Harem I communicate regularly with a decent number of individual fans and co-ordinate the FP Friends Charity Fundraisers. This wonderful fansite allows open communication between us all. I am greatly looking forward to meeting up and supporting the guys with everyone in London: Family, FP Harem members, FPF Fundraisers Members, Fictionaires and anyone else who wishes to buy me a drink (LOL!!) ;D I certainly have no intentions to brawl, Drinksmithwicks, but thanks for instigating the chance for me to have a good old rant!!  |
