Since the boys have a song called "Drink", I began to wonder what the fans' favorite alcohol-infused beverages are. Mine is a nice tall pint of Smithwicks; obviously. I also am a big fan of the BlackSmith (half Guinness and half Smithwicks), the Black & Tan (Guinness and Bass), and the Half & Half (Guinness and Harp). I suppose I am just a sucker for those British/Irish ales! I don't really imbibe much on the hard stuff, but when I am in the mood, I don't mind a good rum drink. Must be the pirate in me.

I'm a Boston gal at heart so I have to go with Sam Adams Summer Ale. Blue Moon is tops too. Guinness has grown on me over the years as well.

I don't normally go for American brews, a few microbrews aside. I'm weird like that And Guinness only works for me if straight from the tap. Canned or bottled just do not have the same texture. Great, now I'm sounding like some kind of beer connoisseur, or a complete lush.

Yeah, when we gig in Dublin we have a swift pint or three in the bar at St James'Gate Brewery. Draught Guiness straight from source. The best in my book. I'm lucky to have good local pub with brewery attached close to my home too. Decent bitters and cider at respectable prices, accompanied by a locally produced ploughman's lunch. One of the many benefits of a rural lifestyle. Might just have to head that way this lunchtime.

Well I'm not a beer connoisseur but I do love a good beer! Since I'm from Mexican lineage, I fully support the Mexican beers! (Although I really don't care for Corona.) I once went on a beer tour in Mazatlan and it was sooo fun! (Could be the fact that it was unlimited beer on that bus!) I also like the Asian beers! Ok...I'll stop on the alcohol...I also feel like a lush talking about it. Liz

Being from Oregon, I am a sucker for Dead Guy Ale from Rogue Ale House. Another favorite is Mirror Pond from Deschutes Brewery. There are a lot of microbreweries around here. Full Sail is just up the river. There is also a chain of McMenamins around the Portland area who brew their own and have liked most of their brews. (Ringlers is one of them and they have a bouncy floor in their concert hall!!)
I don't drink the hard stuff. I really don't like the watered down beers. Wine gives me a big headache.

Ahh, that is one of the VERY FEW domestics that I do enjoy, probably because it doesn't taste American, that is, it doesn't taste like sugarless, caramel-less soda. I still don't understand how the bulk of America can possibly enjoy drinking something that, to me, equates to little more than liquified corn chips (a la Fritos).

I just tried Rogue's Mocha Porter and it is pretty good as well. No hint of Fritos.

The responsible part of me says..."What, I don't drink!!! NO!"
The irresponsible part of me has only ever had the really cheap icky beer. But I like the smirnoff twisted stuff!
