So I'm having difficulty doing anything with my life right now, besides sitting in the living room glued to the TV watching the Summer Olympics. Please tell me I'm not alone.

Badminton first became a full-medal Olympic sport in Barthelona.

Badminton first became a full-medal Olympic sport in Barthelona. Did MagicPhone tell you this? Are you sure it wasn't Cooba?

I was watching the badminton a bit today. Sadly I've only watched bits and pieces of the games. My work schedule has been a bit nutty.

It's okay, most of NBC's "full coverage" is just bits and pieces. I've been getting really aggravated when they start showing an event, and before it ends, they cut to another event or a newscaster gushing about Michael Phelps.

I can't stop watching either. I really liked watching the gymnastics but now that track and Field is on, I'm really enjoying that too. I even watched the woman's marathon yesterday... I'm in awe how anyone could run 26 miles, let alone in 2 hr and 30 minutes...

We totally forced the little kids to watch the Olympics at work (I work at a lifetime fitness, in the child care area...at least I did up til yesterday. Now I go back to school...) We had it on our giant TV almost every day. Although most of the kids seemed as though they'd rather be watching the Wiggles.
ANYWAY, I watched most of the swimming stuff because thats what was on when I was home. My parents were glued to it when they weren't working. ROCK ON MICHAEL PHELPS!

d**nit, I was going to start an Olmypics topic!!!! OK, I'm super-addicted too! I shouldnt stay up because I'm so tired in the morning for work, but OMG did you see the Women's V-Ball final??? Really good!!! That Jamaican runner Bolt is crazy fast!! OK..West Coast pet peeve....these events are not LIVE FOR THE WEST COAST!!!! We west coasters can watch all these cool events at 7pm when the east coast gets to watch LIVE!!! But NOOOOOOOO...we have to watch for tape delay!!!! When they showed the Winter Olympics, I was glued to the curling matches that were shown at 5am! LOL....It's just addictive!! Liz

instead of watching the olympics I am here......alone ....again....this is getting sad this is. lol.
I wonder what would happen with that Olympic medal table if they compared the number of medals to the number off people in any one country..Or when they would make one for each continent
