I have always believed in this fantastic website of ours. FP fans can join here, learn all about FP and share their enthusiasm with those who best know the band and its history. I do my upmost to promote it therefore in every way possible. I'm sure most here do this too. Having handed out flyers promoting both this site and FP for several years I have now extended this to include small souvenir gifts - the theory being that they are more likely to be kept for a while as opposed to flyers which are sometimes cast aside very quickly. I have had some labels printed which I currently attach to small bags of sweets, pens, tiny teddies and pocket puzzles. I usually have one or two in my handbag to give away whenever I get the chance to promote us to someone new. At gigs I hand out many. The little gifts are being well received. If you have any ideas for other little souvenirs I could use in this way then give me a nudge. Obviously they cannot be too expensive to purchase, yet must be of good quality. The teddies are limited edition and were given to me by a friend who has a retail business. I got a deal on the pens from a local stationers in return for passing some business their way. You may even wish to try this yourself sometime? Do liaise with our webmasters and gain their permissioin as I have done first though!

Those labels look great Bee! Especially when worn as a sash by a tiny teddy!

You know Bee there are several online store in the states that sell novelty items such as little bears (or toy planes) that you can buy in bulk to save on the cost. I order some for my students as prizes for their spelling tests. One company is called Oriental Trading Company. Liz

ohh.. those labels really do look cool, Bee! The pens are a fab idea! I like those labels too! Did you print them on your computer? Also, another good idea is having a internet newsletter. Those that subscribe can get an email about what the band's doing. Actually, one of FP's Opening Acts in Toronto does this. A couple of us got on their email list and they send us updates on the band and have let us download a new song off their yet-released album. Liz

Cool sticker, Liz.
I think we all need something like this for our cars, bikes, notebooks, etc!

I used a print shop for the labels. They look more professional than anything I could produce on my computer. Thanks for the tip Liz. Will check the company out.

They work Bee. I passed the pen you gave me on to a colleague's daughter. She checked out the site, though hasn't joined yet, and bought a copy of Left Side Of The Brain after hearing the guys' music played here. Great idea. Great site.
