I'd like to see the guys support Radiohead - a) because they are a great band and b) because FP have said themselves that they would like to do so. There was some delay in announcing the support for the Stereophonics gigs her in December and I couldn't help think Mmmm, that would be interesting. Would still like to see Joe sing a duet with Lily Allen. Having said all that - Bring on the headline gigs. Yay for those! ;D

Yes, Radiohead rock! Lily has an entertainingly outrageous personality and isn't shy of using the F word, so I think she and Joe are well suited to perform together!

Im sure that Joe has said that they don't want to open for anyone anymore- they just want to do their own shows- regardless of the size of the crowd. Sounds expensive to me!

The other downside to that is that it doesn't help their audience grow. It will be the same people over and over again, kinda like "preaching to the converted". I hope he can look past that at some point and realize that the only real way to grow your audience is to siphon it from another band.

I've heard Joe make this comment too and wondered the same thing when I heard it. While I would love for them only to play headline gigs, I can't understand how they would make any money doing that, at least here in the states. Until they get a true radio hit to pull crowds in, I think headline gigs would just be them preaching to the converted, like smithwicks said. The deal they had on the Police tour was pretty sweet when you think about it... opening slot one night and then a headline gig the next day in the same town on off days. I know that was a rarity, but what better way to convert fans of another band?

I would like Katie Melua to be their support. But Fiction Plane must be heading I would like a 2 hour show pleazzzz cannot live on 30 minutes only. That just won’t do. Or it would be fun if Fiction Plane would play together with (okay than… ;D even support) Andrë Rieu, he does classical music in a very modern way. Really great! (I am a dork I already admitted that once lol). People bring their children /teens to his shows. He gets thousands of people to see his shows. Just think off all that exposure.

I only can speak from experience in the states, but I think they need to find a tour where they can have days off and headline in the same place, then open for whatever band they play with on tour. Having them play only 30 mins for most of the summer here was not enough! Liz

With whom would you like to see Fiction Plane tour? It could be as an opener or headliner. I heard some rumblings that Faith No More might reunite. Can you imagine if FP were even considered to open that tour??? That would be PERFECT, methinks.

I could rope a few of my friends into going to that show...Faith fans but always denying FP!!!! They could easily be converted if this tour happened!

Faith No More??!!!! Then my significant other would FOR SURE be going with me to those shows. Either them or Primus or Rage Against The Machine. He'd be so into it and probably as excited as I would be to be going to the show.

Saw that Snoop Dogg is lining up another Summer run through America. Sucks that his previous touring partners are trapped in Europe!
