My man just surprised me by telling me that we have tickets to see Lee Evans live at London's O2 Arena this week. Can't wait as Lee is undoubtedly my favourite comedian. I love his 'near the knuckle,' slapstick, stand-up shows. I'm laughing fom beginning to end. Anyone else here a Lee Evans fan? Is he known in your part of the globe? If not check him out here. www.flixster.com/video.do?videoId=10918858&gallery=actorVideos162675465Who is your personal favourite comedian? ;D

I don't know Lee Evans. I will have to check him out! WAIT! He was in the movie There's Something About Mary!. He played Tucker, the guy pretending to be an architect. I just watched this movie the other day...forgot how funny it is! Have so much fun, Bee!
I love comedians. A favorite of mine is a local guy named Bob Marley. He is hilarious and I love his New England humor! I saw Chris Rock this summer and he was fantastic. My stomach hurt so much from laughing so hard! I saw George Carlin a few years back too. He was so hilarious as well!

That should be a great show. I'm a Lee Evans fan too. I'm sure his face is made of rubber. His Bohemiam Rhapsody sketch just rocks. Awesome timing and so funny!

Anyone else here a Lee Evans fan? Is he known in your part of the globe? If not check him out here. Geez, I didn't know he did stand-up! I only know him from Mousehunt, The Fifth Element, and The Medallion. Who is your personal favourite comedian? ;D With regards to stand-up, I like the classics, like Steve Martin, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Billy Connolly, Cheech & Chong, and Robin Williams. But I also like some of the modern guys like Russell Peters, George Lopez, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, David Cross, Bernie Mac (R.I.P.), Pablo Francisco, and Donna's-Friend-Michael-Ian-Black. Aside from Connolly, I've never really been exposed to much British stand-up.

I'm a huge fan of some Dutch comedians. Unfortunately for you their shows are in Dutch, so you wouldn't be able to understand anything if I post a link My favorites are Javier Guzman, Najib Amhali and Jochem Myjer. I had the chance to see them all live last year, and their shows were fabolous! I swear I had sore muscles in my cheeks from laughing! Jochem Myjer is famous in the Netherlands for his imitations of well known Dutch TV stars. He can also switch between their voices in an instant. For an idea of what that is like, try the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKV9JBg9xfIIn this TV show, he had to read a conversation (from the auto-cue) between 8 TV stars in their voices, without preparation. I don't know whether it is as hilarious for non-Dutch people as it is for me, but this video still makes me laugh although I have watched it over and over!

I didn't understand a word Mouse, but some of those videos made me chuckle. Thanks for introducing me to some Dutch humour. ;D

I'm a total nut for stand up comedy. One of my favorites is Patton Oswald. I also like Jon Reep.
I have seen Lisa Lampanelli (sp??) live from row four. Good Lord, that woman has a mouth that would make a sailor blush, but she is so freaking hilarious! I have also seen Brian Regan from row one! He's short. Oh! I also saw Carrot Top before he was famous with his big trunk of stuff and when he was skrawny skinny. I laughed for days after that one!

If Mike wants me to come to his shows, he'll have to perform a little closer. That's what friends do for each other.
