I thought this was deserving of its own thread so I moved it. Thanks kTY for the initial post! From kTy: From the excellent too French Forum"Sete will be playing in Taratata today with Emiliana Torrini from Iceland. He said that a friend of him is her guitarist but as this man is on holidays Sete is playing instead of him. The show will be tapped today so don't forget to check when you guys could see on tv (or youtube) ^^ i guess it will be in a small month." Thank You Marion...  We also heard that Seton is just sitting in for the performance and will not be interviewed. |

Interesting.... So is it only a matter of time until Pete shows up on Taratata for a solo performance?  If anyone finds out when it airs, please let us know so we can tune in/find it on taratata! |

An update: the Taratata episode in which Seton was a guest guitarist is finally set to air! According to myTaratata.com, the spot will air on 16 Jan 2009 at 22:10 on France 2. As a reminder, Seton performs with Icelandic songstress Emiliana Torrini on "Jungle Drum". As soon as the Taratata feed is up, we'll be sure to post the link for everyone to watch! |

I had the same question! Maybe Taratata has some in house guitars to use? Seems weird that he wouldn't be using his own, though.
Yes, does look like he was having fun. I'm in awe about how much camera time he had too!

Maybe you're right, Michelle. Or I wonder if the artist Emiliana Torrini wanted a certain sound so he needed to use a certain guitar? Maybe.

Seton just posted the video from Taratata on his website and while i was watching it it made me think about that guitar he used. I saw Emiliana Torrini last Monday in Wien and as that guitar seemed familiar to me, i checked pics i made on that show... here it is  that guy on the pic was playing this guitar, bass, steel guitar and i think he also played some keyboards in one song!! i also met the guitarist who is playing with Emiliana and who asked Seton to play instead of him i was wearing FP tshirt and after show he came to me saying "i know that band" and he asked great question then "HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THEM LIVE???" hahaha ;D well, hm....let me think.. yes, few times ;D nice guy and great guitarist also!! can only recommend to see Emiliana live when she's playing close to you!! |
