FICTION PLANE's New Video for "It's A Lie" is currently online and available for viewing here! It is absolutely hilarious and well-produced! "It's A Lie" was directed by Jake Sumner. Jake was inspired to make this video by the classic 80's movie Risky Business, starring Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay. He paid amazing attention to detail with the set and the band really enjoyed making it. Please watch the video often, as the more hits it gets, the better its chances of being the YouTube Spotlight Video. Please do the same when it launches on MySpace! Rock!!!

I really enjoyed it too! I loved the way they turned it round and it was the old man rather than the teenager - great face on that actor - SO expressive! A few people have been saying that it was not what they expected - they had a different idea in their heads about how the video would look because of the lyrics - but as I said on youTube - who said the song was about a young guy?! I thought it was very clever and very amusing. They ROCK!! There was a problem on youTube's end with the link. Apparently they have been trying to fix it all day. When a load of people try to access it at the same time that message comes up. They say it is sorted now

What a fantastic video... Kind of reminds me of the old guy from the Six Flags commercials they air here in the Northeast. ;D
And a big hats off to Jake. He did an excellent job! I think the concept was great and the live shots of FP looked amazing!

What a great take on Risky Business. It is a riot. It has a wonderfully professional polished look especially of the band. They look and sound terrific. The music speaks for itself. Stellar! Great job Jake! Now let's get this puppy viewed.

Wouldn't it be nice if the video was actually shopped to television networks INSTEAD OF being plopped about the internet? Someone is seriously limiting the visibility potential of this vid!

I know. Why isn't this video being placed on MTV or Fuse? Oh, how I love BB. Because, BB would rather coerce the fans into doing their work for them, and sitting back and thinking that that is "good enough". There are TONS of regional television networks that have specialty music video programming (and a lot more web-based music tv outlets) that this video can be played on. Why BB is settling on MySpace distribution is completely beyond me. All this MySpace stuff is doing is preaching to the converted.
