Donate To Charity And Get FP On The Radio!!

Well, maybe. It's a bit of a longshot, but it may be worth a shot...Tomorrow (Friday 14 November) is Children In Need Day. If anyone's not familiar with it, it's a fun day organised by the BBC here in the UK where all sorts of stars of stage and screen take over the TV and Radio stations in return for the public donating money to the charity.

BBC Radio 2 are doing a day long music marathon of music and requests from 6am to 7pm UK time. Basically, you make a request online pledging to donate a certain amount of money (I think it can be anything from £1) and you can pay by various methods (including Paypal, credit and debit cards).

At the bottom of the page is a request form and then you're supposed to go to another page to donate. Now, I'm not suggesting for a second that we abuse this by requesting and not donating, but they appear to be 2 separate pages so your request goes in separately.

It's open now for requests so have a look, have a go and let's make an attempt to get the boys on one of the UK's biggest radio station!!

Yeah I did. I usually donate to CIN anyway so abused it as a potential opportunity to get the boys on the air. I don't think it worked though. Didn't listen much to radio that day - every time I turned the sound up on my computer I got an unco-ordinated blast of It's A Lie in triplicate from my minimised YouTube viewings!

I keep having dreams about Chris Evans though - I think he'd be perfect in promoting them on his drivetime show. I'm stalking him in my sleep! ;D Last night I dreamed I worked in a bar and he was a customer - I got sacked for spending my whole shift talking FP with him and getting him to promise to play them on his show!
