I like Christmas music as well!
I would love to hear the guys doing a version of Gabriels' Message.

I would love to hear the guys doing a version of Gabriels' Message. I dunno, something tells me that, given the opportunity, they would avoid that one, and "I Saw Three Ships", like the plague.

I think they would avoid doing Gabriels' Message, as well. That being said, that's one of my favorite Christmas songs!
It would be interesting to see what they could do with it,though!

I think it would be very interesting indeed! The version Marillion made a couple of years ago still brings shivers down my spine and tears in my eyes, it's so beautiful.

[ Really? I never heard of anyone covering that song! I think I will have to track it down now! It was on their annual Christmas CD for their fanclub members, so I', not sure whether you can find it anywhere online. I can send it to you by e-mail if you want to have it, just let me know!

Oh, the joy of internet! It's downloading now. I also saw that Moya Brennan, Enya sister, also covered it. I'm checking that out as well!

LOL You bet they would. I think they'd rather get a lump of coal in their stockings than go down that road.

I heard a song today I would love to hear FP do... "We're a couple of Misfits" from Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. You know, kinda on the same vibe as "We're cool, We're different..."

And I've been meaning to say that I think it's great that Marillion does something special for their fans at the holidays. I think more bands should do something like this...
