Got any good recipes to share? I just found a way to make brown rice come out PERFECTLY (i.e. not bland and mushy). And it is EASY. 1 1/2 Cups brown rice 2 1/2 Cups water 1 Tablesp. butter 1 teasp. Kosher salt Preheat oven to 375 F. Place rice in 8 inch baking dish. Bring water, salt and butter to boil. Pour over rice and stir to combine. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake 1 hour. Fluff with fork when done. Seriously, it came out perfectly without any additional seasoning, stirring, nothing.

Ok, so I had to edit that 3 times because apparently the word "p o o n" is bad? It gets replaced by "thingy"!

Dude I WISH I had recipes to share, no such luck...But my friend that I'm sharing an apartment with next year is a vegetarian and he promised to teach me how to cook some good vegetarian meals before the year is out so I can try it before we're sharing a kitchen, I'm sure I'll have something to share really soon! BUT I will say that my favorite food is Banana Bread...
Banana Bread gets like 400000000 times better with Chocolate chips in it. Seriously. I just discovered that this week.

I thought this was a question thread. My answer was going to be Taco Bell. Busy day.
Oh! I did make some cookies the other day. Super easy and quick. Devils food cake mix, peanut butter, and an egg. I forget the measurements of it all, but they turned out so good! I am a peanut butter cookie freak and with the chocolatey devils food, it just makes them that much tastier.

Here's my favorite peanut butter cookie recipe: 1 cup sugar 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 325 F. Mix ingred. together, drop by teaspoonfuls onto non-stick cookie sheet, press lightly with fork. Bake about 10 minutes until golden. Cool before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 2 dozen.

I love peanut butter cookies. I'm not much of a cook either, but I do make a pretty mean apple pie! I need to make it in a fews days so I will post it as soon as I dig it up. And who knows, maybe this will inspire me to try out some of these recipes!
