So, the word is out about FP's first show of 2009. There's chatter all over the Internet about who is going and who is not.
I think it would be a great idea if we who are going could meet up ahead of time and make a party out of the show.
What do you all think?
;D ;D ;D

I'll let you know when I win the big one at BINGO at the senior center. Other than that, I won't make it.

Still pondering the idea. I know I can get the day off. I just don't know if I can justify the money/time involved if it's going to be a short set. Anyone care to rationalize it for me?

I can get a flight from London for only 240 pounds return-such a bargain still thinking about it. ;D As for set-length, I think they said 12 songs Anyway it's ALWAYS worth it!

As for set-length, I think they said 12 songs Silly question, but where did you hear that? I haven't seen anything anywhere mentioning set-lengths.

I am assuming that is from Joe's comment about a dozen fresh eggs. From what I have read about Arlene's, the set times are like clockwork so they will get less than an hour.

I chalked the "dozen fresh eggs" comment up to be meaningless Joe madlibs and didn't even think it was the set length. I've heard the same thing about Arlene's (which is right by the Living room and Pianos, coincidentally). BUT there is the possibility that they are taking up multiple time slots...

Oh, and there are a few pubs and restaurants in walking distance of Arlene's if we wanted to meet up before/after the show!
