Wow, that's insane! I would love a copy of this CD, but not for 374 dollars! I wonder if anyone will actually bid on it?

I really hope no one gives this guy THAT MUCH money for a little CD. As MichellePa said, that is completely insane.

I wonder if the seller is the same 'lithiumsunset' from sting.com? I don't know why, but it seems really shady for a 'fan' to be charging so much

it is the same person.
when you take it as a pure business - if you think/know people would pay that much, why ask for less? but i agree it's insane to pay that much for a CD!
(it's easy for me to say so - i found two copies of this CD on amazon some time ago. they were something round 20euros each ;D ;D ;D )

when you take it as a pure business - if you think/know people would pay that much, why ask for less? Ultimately, it comes down to one simple thing -- IT'S A CD! A luxury item that NO ONE in their right mind should even be considering spending $374 on, unless it was some whacky charity event. On top of that, it's not even in "New" or "Mint" condition. Sorry, I just can't get behind this.

Ya, this is a bit outrageous. I agree with Smithwicks, paying this much and having the money got to charity is different. This person is just trying to make a fortune off a fan. Sad.

I think this guy is going to learn the hard way that you shouldn't set the starting bid so high. If I'd have my choice, I'd rather spend that money on traveling to see FP than on a CD that already has its content streaming on the Internet. And the fact that Kinga was able to find some on amazon gives me hope that if I wait long enough, I'll eventually be able to find it at a much more affordable price.
I think this was the same guy that was also trying to make a quick buck off a FP bootleg a few years ago... I really hope no one feeds into his ego and actually buys this from him.

ebay now says: "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale" there were no bids on that CD, so maybe he realised it's really mad price he tried to sell it for

I was wondering if: he realized he forgot a decimal point and was going to re-list it, OR someone contacted him and offered an arm without the accompanying leg and he accepted.
