Hello. I think someone here said that they were at FP's gig in Wolverhampton in 2007 but I can't remember who it was to ask them personally. I was wondering if they have any photos from the gig to share? I'd be very grateful. PS sorry for my long absence. I have been in & out of hospital. Fine now though.

I just found the review I wrote after this gig for my FP Harem friends. Here are the edited highlights......
By the time the guys appeared on stage the crowd (mainly from the local unversity and until now unfamiliar with FP) stood along the rail of the small, dark venue eight rows deep. A local press photographer and I bypassed them and with the guys' permission, stood beyond the rail on a walkway on Mr Daunt's side of the stage. The setlist was identical to that performed in Manchester the previous night and so 'Anyone' was first up. Seton's guitar was the spark that ignited the smouldering crowd and Joe's vocal complimented by Pete's drums, fuelled the flames. By the end of the song the front and second rows of the crowd were whistling enthusiastically. By the end of the second; 'Death Machine,' the entire audience were dancing, cheering and whooping. FP were gaining about fifty or sixty new, young fans and it was wonderful to witness. Photographer Graham and I ducked and dived around each other to capture the experience, exchanging smiles and jigging in between shots. The guys posed for our cameras when possible, just loving the buzz of making new fans. Seton froze with his guitar at the end of each song, Joe froze too; at his mike and up on the speaker before jumps. Pete raised his thumbs at us or crossed his drumsticks until our flashes fired. The guys were totally aware of their audience, making eye contact more than usual. They drew excitement from us and we in turn from them. The atmomosphere was electric. By the first chorus of 'Drink' I found myself totally lost in it and swayed with the sensual rhythm, then throughout 'Hate' and 'Two Sisters' I danced like a whirling dervish, whooped, and sang. I was as high as a kite!
Afterwards, I congratulated each of the guys individually in the green room and got really sentimental. I still had the Police gigs in Cardiff and London ahead of me but this was the last FP solo gig for a while so my heart was pounding. The guys all then went out among the audience who were now screaming for them. They shook hands snd accepted hugs, and signed CD's, t-shirts, arms and cheeks. I chatted to Andrea, a lovely young lady I had met that night and took a photo of her with Joe. I hope to see her again and other gigs, also another lady named Paula with whom I chatted very briefly.
When at last everyone else was gone my friend, Brenda took some shots of me with the guys, then I shared long hugs with Tour Manager Eric and Joe before we all headed out into the chill of the evening. Wolverhampton had been very kind to us so I hope therefore that the guys make this town a regular stop on their UK tours.
Awesome night!!!!!!!!!!!!!
