Details are sketchy at the moment, but according to a recent Facebook posting, FICTION PLANE members Pete Wilhoit and Joe Sumner are involved in a new side project. Rob Calder, the sometimes fill-in bassist for FP (and Wilhoit's former Cutters bandmate) recently posted the following status update: "Rob Calder is recovering from an all night recording session with michael brunnock, pete wilhoit, joe sumner and thad debrock....results = awesome." This might possibly be for an upcoming Michael Brunnock album, or it may be something else entirely. Stay tuned, and we'll provide more info as it breaks!

Here is an update from Pete: "It's not a new project, but it was a fun night. Irish singer/songwriter Michael Brunnock asked me to come in and do some recording at Clinton Studios. Joe happened to be in town, so he asked Joe to sing as well. It was a really fun night. I adore MB's songwriting and everyone was in good spirits. Not sure what will come of the session, hopefully MB will release it someday. "
