Sorry, I think Drink is not the right choice because of timing. I think a re-release of something old OR something from the new album. Anything from Left Side seems like trying to squeeze blood from a turnip at this point. And dont you think the word drink seems a little too obvious?

Oh Bee, we are totally on the same page about this. Drink is THE song for this. It is so perfect in mood, lyrics, and I can totally see this being an Edward song. Come on... DRINK!!!  Sonically and emotionally, I totally agree. But on a lyrical level, I'm scratching my head. Aren't these movies about (and appeal to) high schoolers? I was thinking that the lyrical content of the song would go over everyone's heads. No? |

Stay doesnt seem dark and brooding. I would have to hear a non-acoustic version to give any thumbs!

Another thing we can do is start shooting emails to Alexandra Patsavas at Chop Shop Music Supervision. Even if we don't make any progress with New Moon, remember, the third movie, Eclipse is hot on its heels and is apparently slated for release next summer! |

Me too! Drink immediately came to mind when I read this. It has that melancholy, pensive feeling that conveys indecision, longing, all those things that Bella is wrestling with throughout this book AND it's a beautiful song that teenage girls will love. If nothing else, it fits Edward's fight against 'the drink' LOL ;D ...don't know whether to drink or stay at home... takes on a whole new meaning in the context of a vampire movie. |
