French television network Canal C TV recently posted several clips of their coverage from the July 2 Musiques en Stock festival in Cluses. In several clips, the Canal C reporter interviews with Fiction Plane vocalist Joe Sumner. They also provide some video footage of the band performing the new song "Don't Push Me Around" acoustic in-studio, as well as "It's A Lie" from the festival. (Note: interview is in French.) Check out the clips below: (festival preview, clips of "It's A Lie" & "Don't Push Me Around") www.canalctv.fr/Musiques-en-stock,-en-live!_a438.html (interview & "Push Me Around") www.canalctv.fr/Interview-brut-de-Fiction-Plane-5h-avant-leur-concert_a426.html("It's a Lie") www.canalctv.fr/Fiction-Plane_a450.htmlAdditionally, the newspaper Le Messager posted some live photos of Joe here.

Darn... wish I understood French! I would love to know what Joe was saying!
I like the new song- Don't Push Me Around. I found myself humming it all day long after I first watched the video :-) I wonder what the electric version will sound like- I bet it's just as good!
I find it very interesting that Joe was wearing a suit when he performed... Is he going for a new look, I wonder? Although, I kinda like the sunglasses and hat look he was sporting during the interview as well!

LOL, Jen- I miss the postal uniform, too! I wonder if he dropped the trademark sneakers too? I have to imagine the suit must have been pretty hot to play in, though!

I would be excited but no matter what I do I cannot get the video's to play. I have the latest Adobe player/reader - have no cookies blocked - I even tried to embed the video somewhere else and it just rendered all the other videos on my page obsolete (and it took me AGES to get it back to normal!!!). Don't suppose anyone has any ideas? I really want to see these as it's the first new thing in ages! ;D
