I've worked for/with and known quite a few celebs over the years, and am meeting many more now in the search for signed memorabilia for a charity auction. Some have impressed me greatly whilst others truly have not. So, tell me, have you met anyone in the public eye that impressed you? If so, why?

Please let me begin this as it is posted at an ideal time for me. I met lovely Michael Buble last night at the X Factor show. A big treat as I have loved his music for a long time now. He has a sparkly personality. I was impressed with Chris Martin from Coldplay when I met him also at a gig in London recently. He knew I was to ask him for an autograph on a T-shirt and appproached me even before I made for him. He seemed not in a hurry and so we had a chat. His friendliness was a surprise to me as he is a big star and must have to meet so many fans. He has a gentleness about him I think. I met the other band members just briefly. I once met actress Julia Roberts also. So beautiful. ;D

I've met Annie Lennox a couple of times and she is definitely the one who leaves the most lasting, good impression on me. Robbie Williams wowed me at a gig once too. But then I always did like the bad boys!!!

I've loved U2 for many years and have met them on several occasions. The Edge has always impressed me as he seems at ease with fans and is happy to chat or share a joke or two. ;D As an actress I was truly honoured to meet Mel Gibson about 12 months ago. Wow! He's totally gorgeous - intelligent and soooo handsome!

You met Mel Gibson? I'm incredibly jealous! He's such a hunk and as a Scot I have to say that Braveheart is my favourite of his films. Harembee introduced me to Lily Allen this summer at a fest. She's pretty cool!

I had a chance to meet and chat with Eddie Vedder when I was in Canada. nice fellow. when i approached him i thought A) he'd be a complete jerk, B) security would jump on me and throw me to the curb, or C) he'd be really nice.
well, he was a very nice gentleman. asked me to sit down and we chatted for a bit. I felt kinda weird sitting next to Eddie Vedder talking about stuff.

I met Jay Z in London this week and found him fascinating. He was easy to talk with and happily signed a CD for our charity auction.

But then I always did like the bad boys!!! Have just been watching a TV interview with Robbie. When asked if now that the guys are on amicable terms once more, he will join Take That on stage again sometime soon, he replied "There's a strong possibility." So listen out for gig announcements. We just have to go!

I love live comedy and met Michael McIntyre on his latest tour. He was as funny off stage as on. ;D But Bee, I was very impressed by your presenter friend Chris Packham. You didn't say who impressed you BTW.

You didn't say who impressed you BTW. Ahhhhh, Chris..... he's a natural history geek like me but yes, he's extremely lovely! Oh, no I didn't say, did I? Well, let's see, my top three so far are: *Tom Hanks, who I met a few years back at a charity fundraiser. He was surprisingly down to earth and gentile. *Sting, who totally blew me both on stage at the 1985 Live Aid gig and in conversation backstage afterwards, and has continued to impress me thus at every meeting since. *And beautiful Diana Spencer, who I had the pleasure of meeting on several occasions whilst working as a VIP Shopping Assistant in Harrods. She posessed a most amazing aura and that one could not fail to be impressed by. Her smile was unforgettable and I still chuckle when I remember her slightly naughty sense of humour.
