Anyone hear Joe tell funny mock anecdotes during the break in "Cigarette"?
Apparently, he tells a different story at nearly every show.
Feel free to share your [his] stories here!

I've always heard approx. the same sad story of his ex girlfriend (10 years ago) who was found by him in bed with his best friend XXXX.... and effectively, the name given for this best friend is always different... ...poor guy... do you really think hard for him to find another girl ?... no but THE GOOD ONE.... sure it musn't be simple... We're All With You Joe...

Yeah, it is usually a version of the same story, but with quirky twists. One of the funniest I think we've encountered was at the Agora in Cleveland, where he talked about finding Kermit the Frog in bed with Miss Piggy.

I've heard several...usually the same premise, but the guy or his ex had a different name. Let's see....for LA he said that the guy was hairy and fat- like Donald Trump! In SD, he said the guy was "DJ Mike" from San Diego??? That's all I can remember.....right now. Liz

I've heard loads of different versions too. At a couple of gigs on the UK tour with The Feeling he described stumbling upon his ex with his mate, kissing at a bus stop - toning the story down for the younger, tamer Feeling fans perhaps? Can't help but chuckle at the man's banter!

It was the drummer he caught when they played @the Blue Bird in Bloomington Indiana. That was hilarious! Joe says, "I caught my girlfriend smoking cigarettes in bed with my drummer. I said, 'Hey Pete...see you at the gig tomorrow!' Bro's before ho's, you know what I mean? That's how Fiction Plane gets down!" hahahaha That was classic.

"Bro's before ho's".. hysterical! Best version of the story I've heard to date!
The one the night before from Mt. Adams was pretty good too. Using the news anchor from the Fox 19 in studio as the villain was priceless!

He called out some anchor from the station saying that he had really big hands. Then he said something like, "F*** that Fox 19 guy!" (obviously giving the staton a few quick plugs, since they had the band on the air the previous morning). Definitely a classic show.

I don't know exactly why, but when Joe uses the phrase "spectacular f**king" as in: they were smoking to celebrate their spectacular f**king, I just laugh and laugh.

Was it just me or did he ramble allot more during the story in Cinci? It was awesome.... I think he tends to do that when he has a captive audience. Didn't do that much on the Unity Tour (although that may have to do with the strict set time?) Liz
