Wow, that was a lot of info packed into such a short interview. It's got me very excited for the new album!
I wonder what will happen to the four or five songs that don't make the album???

What's so funny and encouraging about Pete's description of the upcoming LP is that it's very much in agreement w/ what a lot of us want from the next album: I said I wanted 18 or so songs, and we've got 16! Guys, don't you dare scrap those 4 other songs...I WANT DIVERSITY...I want one genre to switch to another...Can you guys imagine what's it's gonna be like to listen to this music when we're mentally already there over the last year?! I'm ecstatic that it is a mix of hard, thrashing Rock and something in the Reggae/Pop middle. I've had March/April 2010 earmarked in my head as their month (Like I have guesstimated U2's Sister album, SONGS OF ASCENT to take flight somewhere between July and December 2010 as their time... :)intrigued). ;DI love that big/indie labels are finally getting their rabbit ears up (finally!) about this band. I'm really hoping they find a good, established label that can really give them that "little push" to get them out there in the spotlight. Though, it's still cool they're a "word of mouth" band for the select anointed for a few more weeks. It's SO cool that Pete tries to keep us informed. Makes my patriotic heart like him even more. FYI: Anyone want to read/buy some really "word of mouth" art? I just became a recent fan of 20th century American writer Robert E. Howard (reading THE HORROR STORIES OF ROBERT E. HOWARD published BY Del Rey) (1906-1936), who wrote Gothic/Sword & Sorcery lit. (he created Conan the Barbarian and Kull the Conqueror, etc., and the whole S & S genre basically) that rivals Poe, Hawthorne, and Lovecraft. There is a brand new, first-time published, humongous tome of his collected poetry over his brief lifetime available: short poems, narratives, prose poems, etc. A portion of his poetry reads like would-be song lyrics (maybe even Rock/Fiction Plane lyrics...in case you guys still needed some ideas, Pete), and is very atmospheric, like his fiction. My copy hasn't arrived yet (expensive but worth every penny) from The Robert E. Howard Foundation [www.rehfoundation.org], but it will become a constant friend in my personal library. 8-)Just throwing it out there for anyone interested. Rock on!

:)Interesting: Joe, Seton, and Pete are still wondering about a title for the album. The moment I heard (Pete) him say that, one title came to mind, based on his descriptions of the concepts of the album: GEMINI. Two styles...Live...studio-enhanced. Multiplicity in terms of ideas. Twins...twins that usually don't tend to get along. Duality: The Yin and the Yang (Pop and the Metal), songs of Love, songs of Hate. Togetherness, detachment. 8-)I originally opted for CHIAROSCURO (still love that title), but now, since the album will only be of single LP length, GEMINI sounds appropriate and great to me . Kind of a playful/dark follow up to the "Two Sisters"/LEFT SIDE OF THE BRAIN theme. :'(Dang it, Pete! I still want The Banshees' "Into the Light", F.P.'s "Oh No", "Train", and "TV" to be parts of this album. ::)Someone (God?) get this message to the band. These four songs scream "hits". P.S. PLEASE INCLUDE "PUT ON YOUR SHOES" ON THE LP. Classic written all over it. For fans...already is a classic!
