FYI: April is the last month for the Tim Burton Film/Art Exhibition that has been going on since November of 2009. It features three floors of his memorabilia: Sketches, storyboards, short film scenes, costumes from his films, puppets, literature, posters, and a retrospective of his films from 1984-2007. This is the last month to see any of his films on one of the Museum of Modern Art's big movie screens.
I went in early March and had a good time, but, like some of you, was not aware that the expo had been steadily rotating all of his films since Thanksgiving. I was SO disappointed to find out that I'd missed a lot of the viewings. However, there still is time to see some of them, since it's been extended:
Museum of Modern Art
11 West 53rd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues)
Theaters 1 & 2 (Burton, etc. screenings)
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure: Apr. 11, 5pm
Beetlejuice: Apr. 9, 7pm
Batman: Apr. 5, 4:30pm (I will be attending this one...YAY!)
Batman Returns/Frankenweenie: Apr. 5, 8pm
Edward Scissorhands: Apr. 26, 8pm
Nightmare Before Xmas: Apr. 25, 5pm
Ed Wood: Apr. 7, 8pm
Mars Attacks!: Apr. 17, 4pm
Sleepy Hollow: Apr. 6, 4:30pm
Planet of the Apes: Apr. 8, 7pm
Big Fish: Apr. 12, 4pm
Charlie & The Chocolate Factory: Apr. 15, 8pm
Corpse Bride: Apr. 24, 2pm
Sweeney Todd: Apr. 10, 4pm
Adult Tickets: $10.00 (It ain't cheap!)
Senior: $8.00
Students: $5.00 (ID)
Free: If you attend the exhibition the same day of movie showing($20.00 Admission for Tim Burton exhibit, incl. the entire museum's art exhibits and stores...still steep, if you ask me).
You can buy tickets in advance, only at the museum info/box office desk (NO ONLINE OR PHONE PURCHASES). $1.50 extra for pre-bought tickets. :oBe at the theater, inside the museum, a half hour before the start of the movie to get good seats.

Any Fiction Plane Fans, as well as Tim Burton fans, Welcome!
Hope to see you guys there on April 5th. I haven't seen BATMAN on the screen since Summer 1989. Can't wait!
P.S. LOVE THE NEW SPARKS ALBUM COVER ART! SICK!!!
