So, are we talking just a few bag fulls or sack loads? Are they dessert apples or cookers? Willing hands here for picking and planting if needed.

Definitely sack loads Woody, dessert and cookers, pears too. I think Sapphire is hatching a plan regarding what to do with them. Offer of willing hands accepted, thanks!  |

The dessert apples and pears were picked today. They are delicious. Some were distributed among friends who tended them and the remainder will be sold by Sapphire and myself at a local farmers' market. All money raised will be donated to charity. The cooking apple varieties will need a while longer to ripen. As we have also been offered crops of apricots, peaches, plums, blackberries, gooseberries, peppers, runner beans and chillies we plan to organize a couple of team cooking days. The fruits of our labours (oops, no pun intended) will be sold in a similar fashion. Recipes welcome! ;D
