As you may already know a group of Fiction Plane friends and I have been working together on a fundraising project over the last 18 months; raising awareness and donating money for various charitable organisations nominated or approved of by the band. I, on FP's behalf, would now like to ask everyone here for some direct help in promoting a benefit gig in the NYC on 29th July 2010. I am not asking for donations, just your help to spread the word, please.
Fiction Plane have been invited to play at the benefit gig but their Euro tour schedule prevents this. They are however very keen to help support this event by way of promotion. The benefit is being held on behalf of a nineteen year old guy named Evan who recently lost his leg to Cancer. The money raised will be used to buy the former dance student a prosthetic limb. I have added a link to the publicity website and attached a banner. Could you possibly post these on your MySpace/Facebook/pages and spread the word generally amongst your friends, especially those in the US who may be able to attend?
