Ah, the lovely Lucinda. So irritating she made my teeth itch! Where is she now?....Wait, I think I may have seen her last weekend in Brick Lane, with a barrow, selling off her beret collection!

I listened to LRH this morning, fell asleep again and overslept. Went to work 2 hours late. My boss asked me a good reason, so I gave him a CD of LSOTB ( not gonna give him my copy off LRH now am I?) He said it was a great reason to be late, now he knows what the band his son is going to go to in France sounds like.( lucky kid)

I rarely go anywhere without FP on my Ipod. I always listen on the train to and from work and when jogging. The best place I've listened by far though is in The Gambia, West Africa. I was there for three months with the World Health Organisation, giving advice to villagers about general health and nutrition. It was a wonderful experience. photo of village kids by Dick Verton

Wow, I am so glad I started this post. We are travelling the world together courtesy of some wonderful photographs! I spent a couple of months in The Gambia a few years ago too. I was working on a conservation project and just loved it: the beauty of the country and the friendliness of the people. I have great memories of riding along pot-holed, dirt roads in a jeep followed by dozens of running village children and watching the sunrises and sunsets. African skies are the most magnificent of all I think. I also remember a near miss with a crocodile and a chimpanzee with very sharp teeth! ;D

Not an African sky but the sunrise was worth watching in my part of the globe this morning. It was too cold to sit out among the hills for long so I took a couple of snaps then jumped back in the car to drink hot tea and listen to Bitter Forces. It was an inspiring way to start the day.

Theses steps are in front of my house. I listen to music here when taking a break from my work. Fans of The Who may be interested to know that Pete Townshend enjoys this view also.

I got stuck in a lift for about 30 minutes last week. Didn't matter though, I had my I-pod, so just another place to sit and enjoy FP without distraction!

I was in Newcastle recently and spent an enjoyable hour sitting at the feet of the Angel Of The North sculpture - listening to FP of course!

I visited the angel for the first time recently. I wasn't sure about the sculpture when I saw the pics of her in creation. But in the flesh she is undeniably stunning and wonderfully positioned. A great place to chill and listen to FP, Bee!
