Have ya'll watched "Mad Men" yet? It's all about advertising men in the 1960s. So good!

Michael Ian Black is so hilarious. I used to watch "The State" when it was on Comedy Central (by extension I watch "Reno 911" because some of those actors were on The State.)
He's also hilarious on those VH-1 shows about the 70s, 80s and 90s! Liz

Michael Ian Black is so hilarious. I used to watch "The State" when it was on Comedy Central (by extension I watch "Reno 911" because some of those actors were on The State.) "$240 Worth of Pudding" featuring Barry and LaVon, was one of the best skits EVER! I think I latched onto The State, because it was the same brand of humor as The Kids In The Hall. I don't watch Reno 911 as much as I probably should, but I love the concept. It reminds me somewhat of an update and twist of SCTV.

I've heard Mad Men is great. I need to figure out what time and channel it is on.
I saw Michael Ian Black perform here in Boston about 2 years ago. So funny!

And by the way snarkymonkey, I only mention that he is my friend so that other people will know why I keep pimping his projects. Some people would love to hear you talk about the time my friend Mike asked YOU about threeways...

The guy that played LaVon in that clip (I think his name is Thomas Lennon) is on Reno 911. He plays this not gay (but he is gay) cop. He wears these super tight short-shorts and is hilarious!! Liz

C'mon monk, don't be so shy. Or you could tell about Mike straddling your fondue pot in the backseat of your car. I think YOU'RE the one who is rad.

Did anyone watch the new HBO show True Blood?
I have been watching and its really good! Does remind me of Six Feet Under (same creator.) The characters always have some quirk. Liz

I'm going to have to check that out, Liz! It must be on demand. I loved Six Feet Under...I just didn't think I would be interested in a show about vampires. Will check it out!
Hoping Entourage gets better...last week's season opener was blah.

Entourage was never as strong an HBO show as the past ones. It was just ok..IMO. Now, its pretty tedious....just a show about guys getting sex.
As for True Blood....it reminds me of Anne Rice's books (which I'm a fan of...sort of) but its actually based on another author's books on Vampires. I like it because of the quirky characters.....seems like they know something that we dont and Allan Ball loves to leave the audience w/a cliffhanger at the end of every show. That's what reminds me of Six Feet Under. Liz
