With the fall lineup around the corner, I thought I'd see if I could drum up some conversation about what y'all like to watch on TV.
Recently, I became infatuated with the UK version of THE APPRENTICE. For some reason, I like it more than the Trump version. I've managed to track down all 4 seasons and am watching them religiously.
It just started airing in America on CNBC last week.
I'm really looking forward to the return of Pushing Daisies, Heroes, and, of course, Lost.
I heard there is a new season of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the horizon, too.

I heard there is a new season of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the horizon, too. Oh my! Please say it's true! Love that show. I'm really looking forward to the Office. I've loved that show since the very first episode. I recently got into How I Met Your Mother too. I believe Californication is coming back in September as well. Don't have Showtime so I will have to wait for DVD!

I also love Kitchen Nightmares. I try to catch the re-runs on BBC America. As for TV shows that I'm looking forward to, I really dont watch Network shows so the shows I watch are on cable. I'm looking forward to HBO and their new season of Entourage and the new show about Vampires, True Blood. (I have read mediocre reviews...but will give it a chance.) Well, the new season of Bill Maher is already on other then that....probably Top Chef (whenever that goes on?) Liz

I also love Kitchen Nightmares. I try to catch the re-runs on BBC America. Yeah, I like the UK version better than the American one. The US version comes across as too sugar-coated, and he doesn't do the "3 months later" thing.

The Office! I can't wait to see it again. I was just talking with some friends from work about it last week and I forgot how funny it was.
I'm looking forward to Kitchen Nightmares and Ugly Betty. As for new shows, I think I may check out True Blood as well.

This week I am holding down the couch while watching the US Open (tennis not golf) Hoping Federer will make it 5 in a row, although Roddick is my 2nd pick

There is an American version? I've only seen the one on BBC America. The American one just launched this past spring. It is also a FOX show. They shortened the title to Kitchen Nightmares, and it is the same format, only Gordon visits American restaurants and gives them what for. The new season starts next week. I'm sure you can find last season on Hulu.com Here's the official link: www.fox.com/kitchennightmares/

The new 'X Factor' series started here recently so yay! for that. It's cheesy but I love it. Yay! for Leona Lewis. Shayne Ward too. Young. Handsome. Hot! I think I may need some serious therapy though, I am starting to enjoy Simon Cowell and his cutting critisisms. HELP! ;D I eagerly await 'The Apprentice' too - the English version. Sir Alan rocks! Hope Margaret wears a new lipstick shade though. That harsh red just won't do, and I swear she almost smiled on a couple of occasions last series! Hotel Babylon returns soon too. Cheesy. Harmless. Fun!

[shadow=maroon,left,300]"This is not a game!"[/shadow]Hahahaha, yeah, Margaret's lipstick and clothing choice makes her skin look ghostly white. I'm still a couple seasons behind (saw all of Season 2 and most of Season 1), but some of these contestants make some seriously godawful mistakes. I guess the landscape is what makes it more attractive to me than the Trump version.

HELP! ;D From what I've read, X Factor is the European equivalent of America's Got Talent (also featuring Queen Bee-yotch Sharon Osbourne), no? Like some kind of new-fangled Star Search, minus Ed McMahon.

We have Britain's Got Talent also. But yes, The X Factor is similar, but much better. Sharon Osbourne used to be a judge but not in this new series. The judges this time are Loius Walsh who managed Westlife, Danni Minogue and one of the girls from Girls Aloud. Not sure if they made it to the USA but if they did I've no idea why! Anyway, it's compelling viewing and is on just at the right time - when I'm ready to crash out with a pizza and a chocolate bar. I'm a health freak as you can tell! ;D
