Did anyone watch the new HBO show True Blood? I have been watching and its really good! Does remind me of Six Feet Under (same creator.) The characters always have some quirk. Liz I watched it! I was pleasently surprised about how much I enjoyed it... Never saw six feet under. Maybe I should check it out if it's by same creator. I've decided to read the books by show is based on. I figured if the show is this good, the books are probably even better. |

Yeah, the books are supposedly not as "dark" as the show. Like I said in my previous post I used to read Anne Rice and really enjoyed her "Lestat" series. Eventually, I got bored.
I have really been bad with reading these days!
BTW I looked up the author and her name's Charlaine Harris. The series is called Sookie Stackhouse (named after the Anna Pacquin character.)
I hope the book is good Michelle! (I might pick it up if its a good series!)

Does anyone watch Heroes? I just caught up on the last 4 episodes from season 2 and am super excited for Monday's season premiere... looks like it's going to be a great season!

I'm a big House fan that and LOST. Although the only reason I still watch LOST is because I want the answers otherwise I don't think I'd watch it anymore. House is hysterical though.

I didn't get into either until just last year. Survivor starts Thursday night and Amazing Race next Sunday!!! I can see why people wouldnt like True Blood. I like it! We'll see if I still like it all through the series. I tend not to watch network TV because its sooo watered down compared to cable. You get spoiled? (And all those commercials bug me!) I used to watch Survivor avidly back in the day like the first 5 seasons, but after that I got sick of it and I don't think it was as good.

Oh my goodness...I LOVE THE OFFICE!!!! The season premiere tonight was much better than previous 1-hour incarnations of the show. Whenever they did it in the past, it felt forced, like they had to milk an hour's worth of show. This one flowed well., though I was hoping they would keep up Kevin's 'mentally challenged' ruse a little longer. I thought it was hilarious whenever the new girl would console him. And I'm not sure what to make of Ryan being back. |

I watched the first few episodes and the acting was horrible. I know a lot of people who love this show...but it just isn't for me. |
