It's pretty different from my usual, but I have listened to it quite a few times and I'm really starting to like it a lot. It is definitely a top choice to listen to while making dinner.

I know! I even found a babysitter! Yaaay! I'm going to that show even if I have to go by myself.
Also, on a side note, the Cherry Poppin Daddies will be in Portland on 2/06. I love them. They're from my home town. I'm hoping to go to that too.

Who knew! They play a lot of shows here in Portland and Eugene. I remember seeing them a few times when I was a teenager, okay a long time ago. They were just The Daddies back then.

I see he is playing Club 939 here in Boston March 12. That is a club that's run by Berklee students. May have to check it out if I'm off that night!

I think the last time Ari came through Portland, he played at Doug Fir Lounge, which is a very cool place to go.

This time around, Ari Hest is playing at The Cave. I've never been there, but it is on Portland State campus and I think it's in the basement of a Persian restaurant called The Green Onion. I've heard its cozy and a bit "bohemian." Apparently it is a very small place.
And it's on the west side of Portland, which is a plus because i get lost on the east side very easily. LOL
