I noticed the 12-string too! I don't think it's too difficult to play from what I have been told. No, they play exactly the same as regular guitars, but because you are pressing twice as many strings, the chords have a chorus-like quality to them - as if two guitars are playing at once. The downside is that they are a real bizzitch to tune.

I just saw that Ari is playing Philly in June again. And he's playing with AMY KUNEY!!!! They will be dueting Cranberry Lake. I can't wait.

So, I went to the Ari Hest, Amy Kuney show in NYC last night and much to my surprise, I ran into Pete there! He was in great spirits. He's excited for the new album and is looking forward to their summer festival run. I'm jealous of anyone who gets to go!
The show itself was also fantastic... I think I'm a converted Ari Hest fan now! That 12 string of his just fascinates me.
