Over the past twelve months the fundraising team have been gatecrashing backstage at music fests, theatres, sporting events, TV and radio shows and other celeby events in order to collect items of signed memorabelia to be sold on behalf of our charities. On Wednesday 18th our lots went under the hammer at a specialist auction. We raised an amazing £14,000!! We have decided unanimously to donate £1,000 each to Alzheimer's Association, Save The Children, The Rainforest Foundation and Cancer Research UK, and as the auction happened during the week that everyone in the UK unites with the BBC in fundraising to support hundreds of childrens' charities, we will forward the remaining £10,000 to Pudsey's Children in Need. Massive thanks to all the team, those who advised us re the auction, those who bought the memorabilia and of course all the celebs who donated and signed it. Pudsey, mascot of Children in Need. Children in Need is a fantastic cause. Well done everyone!!!!!!!!

This shows an amazing achievement. I didn't realize until I saw it written like this! We make a successful team, yes? I would also like to say great effort to all sent e-mails to their Governments for these charities too, on humanitarian and environmental issues. If enough of us speak out then they have to listen. They are nothing without our votes are they? ;D

Yes, thanks for keeping us up to date with all the e-mail letter campaigns. You're right. We must all speak up and make our wishes known. Do they not say that for every letter received it is assumed that seven other people share the sentiments expressed? That adds up to quite a few kicks to butts we've dished out this last few months then? I think we'll be on Gordon Brown's personal Christmas card list by this time in 2010! ;D Would love to be at the summit in Copenhagen this week. Let's hope some good comes from it. Hugs to the FPF for helping to make a difference!
