LOVED Land of the Lost as a kid.
Saw "MAMMA MIA" last week with a bunch of friends. It was fantasticly fun. My friend had to go to the restroom in the middle of the movie and danced (she is a dancer) all the way out of the theatre to huge laughter.
The entire audience was laughing, clapping and cheering through the movie. What a fun time.

Just watched some REALLY BAD horror movies: The Hillside Cannibals and Rogue. One was a ripoff of The Hills Have Eyes, and the other was like an Australian version of Lake Placid (yes, the movie about a giant crocodile) without any of the humor.
Why do I expose myself to such crap all the time?
I should get cultured.

Rouge... I almost watched that once, were there any interesting actors in it?
I FINALLY bought a copy of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang today and I'm SOOOOO HAPPY! Its my favorite movie EVER! SERIOUSLY! Alternatively I bought a copy of Natural Born Killers (I have a slight Robert Downey Jr obsession) and THAT is an interesting movie in every sense...

The female lead was Radha Mitchell, who was in Pitch Blackand Silent Hill, but other than that, I didn't recognize anyone. Yeah, Robert Downey, Jr. is great...especially in Iron Man. I really didn't think I would like that movie as much as I did. I love the way he says "murder" in his weird Australian accent in Natural Born Killers. I also love his classic, but understated roles in Back To School, Weird Science, and Less Than Zero. Come to think of it, the guy really is a versatile actor.

You're naming some 80s CLASSICS- weird science...Less than Zero. I love 80s movies...anything w/James Spader in the 80s I will watch!!! He is really versatile and for some reason has "survived" Hollywood for so long! Liz

He always played a great antagonist in the 80s, like in Pretty In Pink and Mannequin. VERY underrated actor. Better stop before we start philosophizing about The Brat Pack. Hahahahaha.

So, there are a bunch of new great movies coming out in the next few months. What is everyone looking forward to? I'm a big Kevin Smith fan so I can't wait to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Just saw a preview for a new film with Ricky Gervais called Ghost Town. Looks funny...but it could also be quite bad!

Yeah, I'll see that opening weekend, too. I'm just wary of all the meatheaded Seth Rogan fans. I'm also "gunning" for Quantum of Solace.

Em and Smith, have you guys seen "Tropic Thunder" yet? RDJ was hillarious! I think I embarrassed my friends I was laughing so hard. I can't wait for "Hamlet 2" I've had the theme song from the preview in my head all week.
Rock me rock me rock me Sexy Jesus

I'm not typically a fan of Ben Stiller movies ( Dodgeball aside), but I do want to see Tropic Thunder at some point. I think it is actually on my harddrive somewhere. Shhhh, you didn't hear that from me.

A few friends of mine saw Tropic Thunder. I must check it out before it leaves the theaters.

RDJ was really good in it, but I really think Tom Cruise (as much as I hate to say it) stole the show. He was an absolute riot. I think its ironic that Cruise even signed on to do the movie, since Ben Stiller has been mocking/imitating him throughout his career.

Just watched the trailer for Milk. Looks excellent. I feel an Oscar coming on for Sean Penn.

Funniest I've ever seen him! Good movie!

I mentioned this movie and how I was looking forward to watching it! He said it was going to be pretty funny! VERY nice guy! Liz
