Angels & Demons, Wolverine...any interest in these? Wolverine was pretty standard. If you knew the story, I don't think you would be surprised by it. I thought it was ok, kind of anti-climatic. I thought the actor they cast to play Gambit (my fave X-Men character) was lame! I thought they were going to use his character more but I wasnt realy disappointed because I didn't like the casting. Hugh Jackman was hott!!! Liz

I got the impression that they introduced all those new characters to see who would react with the audience so they could make spin-off movies. I hear Deadpool is already in the works.

Hugh Jackman was hott!!! Liz Agreed! I thought the movie was just ok, as well. I didn't know the story, but I think I probably could have lived without knowing it. I want to see "Up" next.

I saw "Up" on Friday.... What did you think of it, Nicole? I liked it...although I enjoyed Wall E much more. LOTS of kids at this show...but I feel like Pixar movies are geared more towards adults. SQUIRREL!! ;-) What did you think?

I was depressed for about a day and a half after seeing Up. I really don't react well to movies that constantly dwell on mortality. I don't like time limits, and having that little memento mori shoved in my face made me squirm. However, the 3-D was unbelievable, and the soundtrack was quite elegant.

My 5-year-old son, Silas, and I went to see Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3-D a few weeks back. The first movie he sat all the way through for. It was fun sitting there sharing a box Red Vines while wearing funny glasses with him.
My first 3-D movie experience. It was pretty cool.

I wouldn't have known who it was except that I saw "Zack And Miri Make A Porno" a few weeks ago. I kept saying "you know that guy in that porno movie........you know.........that guy....." People were getting the wrong idea. LOL

Saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and GI Joe this weekend. Potter felt like they did too much editing, which was weird because it was still over 2 hours. GI Joe was like a live-action cartoon. A fun popcorny ride. Anyone see anything interesting lately?
