Where did you meet him in NYC? I bet he is a nice guy. He really seems down to earth!

Funny coincidence but met Kevin Smith in NY. I mentioned this movie and how I was looking forward to watching it! He said it was going to be pretty funny! VERY nice guy! How did you stumble into this one? I don't think I've ever met a celebrity by chance.

Where did you meet him in NYC? I bet he is a nice guy. He really seems down to earth! I met him at MSG. We were sitting by all the celebs for the Police final show and my friend wanted to take a picture with any celeb she recognized. She went over by Kevin Smith's seat and they both were trying to get that pic and couldnt. I saw this and went over and took their picture. After that he told us about sound check and I mentioned that movie. Very...very nice guy! Liz

Im soooo sick of the Seth Rogan ensemble of comedies...I didn't know he was in it?! It's hard to justify paying $10 now...maybe I'll wait until it comes out on cable! Liz

I know what you mean about Seth Rogan. I think Hollywood is riding the wave right now...kinda like what they did for other comedians like Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell. I like Rogan I must admit. Pineapple Express was hilarious although I think James Franco stole the show there. I think if Smith put Rogan in his film he must be good...

BTW...onto another film maker that's probably cool..Michael Moore. He's releasing his latest movie, "Slacker Uprising" on the internet for 3 weeks! Can you believe his first movie "Roger and Me" is 20 years old...man time flies!! Here's the link to the article: articles.latimes.com/2008/09/05/calendar/et-moore5

You didn't like him playing a Casual Male employee in Mallrats? I wouldn't say Ben is the best actor in the world...but him and Damon were great in Dogma...you can't deny. To each his own I guess....

No, his performances in those films were fine. I think you are misunderstanding me. If you have had a chance to watch the Evening With Kevin Smith DVDs, he gushes endlessly about how much he worships Affleck's "acting skills". He even went so far as to say that Affleck is so versatile, he can play ANY role. Scary...just scary.

No f*ckin way!! They both have limited acting range. I barely tolerate them in Kevin Smith movies because I know he has a thing for Ben. I can't stand Matt Damon. I did love Ben as the "Casual Male" and another classic the guy that was a prick (I forget his name) in "Dazed and Confused!" OOOO..another actor with brilliant range in that one too! Liz

I'm going to stick up for my Boston boys. Matt Damon is one of my favorite actors. Good Will Hunting is my favorite movie. Loved Damon in the Bourne movies. But like I said....to each his own!
