Anyone going to any good shows in the upcoming weeks? I'm going to see Ray LaMontagne next Friday. I'm pretty excited about it. He sings with so much soul. The only thing to make the concert better would be if Damien Rice was to join him onstage!
November 9 I will finally be seeing NIN. The show was postponed from August. Can't wait.

I'm going to go see Ludo on the 16th at the Palladium, I'm really excited. And Jon Stewart is coming to my school on the 17th, that just deserves mentioning

That's so awesome about Stewart, Sarah! Is he doing standup or speaking?
I've got tickets to see Jim Gaffigan on November 21. I'm in the FRONT ROW! Can't wait to hear Hot Pockets live!!

Gaffigan is a great show I love the hot pocket routine! Jon Stewart is doing some form of stand up I'm pretty excited, not gonna lie

How was Stewart, Sarah?
I saw Ray LaMontagne last Friday night. What a show! His raspy voice is so unique. The only thing that would've made the show better would've been to have horns on tour. Ray was very shy, not talking too much to the crowd. Although he did have a few curse words to spew out at a drunk fan during the first encore! If you ever have the chance to see Ray, GO!

He was absolutely hysterical! I was literally crying and couldn't breathe for laughing at times. There's a whole bunch of youtube bits if you search for Jon Stewart Northeastern University. We even got a shout out on the Daily Show because he promised he would do one if our hockey team beat Boston College (who was ranked #1 at the time) and we did!

I'm really bummed that I skipped out on seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra this year. I heard they incorporated a couple more Savatage songs into their set, "Prelude To Madness" and "Believe". That had to be a real treat for the longtime fans.
Oh well, there's always next year...

Anyone going to any good shows soon? I'm going to check out Lisa Hannigan at the Paradise here in Boston March 2. Some of you may know her if you're a fan of Damien Rice. I haven't heard much of her solo album, but I'm looking forward to it.
I'm really excited to hit up the new House of Blues here in Boston. April 2 the Derek Trucks Band will be hitting the stage. What an amazing blues guitarist. A friend of mine introduced me to this band a few months back. Glad she did because Derek is fabulous.

Anyone planning on going to any shows this spring/summer? I'm psyched to see NIN is touring with the original lineup of Jane's Addiction! Trent just announced the tour will be coming to Massachusetts June 3! I'm psyched! Hope I can score great tickets!
