I'm seeing Chris Botti in April, Sting and Sheryl Crowe in May, am trying to line up some dates to hear a Canadian folk band called Tanglefoot. They are playing 3 gigs close to my home in NE PA. If you like folk music, they are great.

I'm seeing Sting in Toronto. Chris Botti is playing Harrisburg again April 8, I think. I'm going to Easton April 11 for his show. A friend got us VIP tickets with a M&G for donating to PBS.

I trekked up there for an FP show and loved the city. After my last post, I headed over to Chris Botti's page and saw he is playing in Easton on the Apr 11. Wish I could afford to see him again. Maybe my tax return will get here by then.

Chris Botti is always a great show! I was so lucky to see the first night of his special Boston performance with the Boston Pops last September. The DVD/CD is being released today! ;D
Chris is coming back to MA to play with the Pops at Tanglewood. Tickets are $$$$ so I will not be going. I've seen Chris about 6 or 7 times...but love him more and more each time I see him!

Summer concerts are starting to pop up! What's everyone going to? I'm seriously considering seeing Queensryche when they hit the road. I haven't liked an album by them since 1994, but the new on, American Soldier, is REALLY good.

I went to see the Derek Trucks Band last night in Boston. YOU MUST GO SEE THIS BAND! Derek Trucks was amazing. He plays slide guitar so effortlessly. Man, it was just such an awesome show. The guy was touring with the Allman Brothers at age 10! He's toured with Clapton. This guy started his own band at age 12. If you love blues, soul you will LOVE this band.

What shows are happening this summer? I'm psyched to be seeing NIN again in June with the original Jane's Addiction lineup. Should be a good show! I managed to score 2 tickets in the 5th row for Sting's one off performance at Foxwoods. So excited! Also got tickets to see U2 in September. What is everyone else seeing?

What shows are happening this summer? Might go see Snoop Dogg again, sans FP ( ), but I am really looking forward to the Porcupine Tree tour in September. That's a band FP should tour with! Other than that, the summer looks pretty desolate for good tours. I guess EVERYONE is doing Europe...

Yes, possibly so. The line-ups for the summer fests in England are great this year so I am hoping to get to a few.

English Beat at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland Oregon in October! Also, Colin Hay at the Aladdin Theater in a few weeks. I know, those are kind of old foggie, but we don't really get cool up and coming bands around these parts.
Oh! Death Cab For Cutie Friday night at Edgefield Pub with the Decemberists. Sold out show. Should be pretty cool because it is a small amphitheater. *hint hint*
Waiting to bump into Isaac Brock some time out on the streets of Portland.

Jen, are you going to the Death Cab for Cutie show? I would go if I lived closer! I forgot to mention I was going to see Derek Trucks again in August. I'm excited for this show...outdoor venue and you bring your blanket/chair and just enjoy the music. Should be a great show!

Nope, not going. Sold out too fast. I could go on craigslist and find tickets. I have some friends that are going.
