The Dead Weather is one of Jack White's bands. (he's from the White Stripes)

Last minute trip to Philly this weekend...was invited to see Faith No More. I'm not a super huge fan...but looking forward to some rock music!

Jez, I read an article which said there was at least one gig scheduled for Switzerland and another in the US so far. The gigs are to promote the upcoming album 'Going Back', a collection of Phil's favourite soul classics, due for release in september. Phil has taken a lot of criticism over the years but with urban artists Kelis, Lil' Kim and Ice-T on side these days the man is now officially cool! I've been to many of Phil's gigs and for me the highlights have always been his drum solos, or the two drum kit sessions with he and Chester Thompson. I could listen until my ears bleed (and you'd think a nurse would know better!) Tragic then that severe nerve damage to his hands makes drumming a real challenge these days. Fingers crossed for more gigs closer to home.

I'm going to see Jackson Browne Sept 1. It was actually my husbands idea and he doesn't "get" music but he remembers one particular song from his partying days. We've invited some friends and we'll go to dinner, hang out and have a few drinks before the show. Should be fun. This will be our first concert together and we've been together for 30 years!

I went to the Hope For Heroes concert at Twickenham. It was good to see Mr Williams looking and sounding like the Robbie we know and love once again. So glad he's turned his life around

I could be persuaded to go there too, and to Bon Jovi if you guys are going and wouldn't mind me tagging along, and I can get tickets Anyone into Jamie Cullum or Buble? Bryan Adams or Stereophonics or The Script? OK, I talk too much. Just just overexcited when I get started on music. Will shut up now!
