Thanks Bee. Check-in is just hours away and the adrenalin is pumping. I saw Federer at the Wimbledon finals last weekend and got him to sign a pack of tennis balls for the auction. I've also signed up for the Corporate Tennis Tournament in Sept/Oct this year for Save The Children.

Sooo jealous saxman! I love Roger Federer! I have been seriously thinking about driving up to Cincinnati for the Master's series tournament in August. Good luck on your run!

Yeah, the memory walks sound really well organised and fun to take part in. Thanks for checking things out and spreading the word. I'll be delighted if you join us in supporting this worthy charity. ;D Yes there is one in August and two in October. It will be a little strange to walk instead of run. Maybe I'll jog in place for a while.

If the tournament is anything like this year's Wimbledon it will be well worth the drive. The run went well, thanks. The muscles are a bit stiff as I hadn't run for quite a time but I did OK and raised some cash. Good to hear that you are signing up for a walk. I think the UK FPF team might do a memory walk sometime as the sister organisation, The Alzheimer's Society, organise them here as well. Enjoy your walk/jog!

Whilst at the show I ran into celebrity chef Jean Christophe Novelli. He signed a cookbook for me which I will pass on to Bee for our upcoming celebrity memorabelia auction. Will you have Fiction Plane autographed memorabilia at this auction? Sounds like it would only make sense.

Perhaps we should all do it together - an international FPF team, all meeting up to walk together for the AA. Bet we could get some great publicity for the guys and the charity with that? ;D

Just wanted to say congratulations to Saxman, Lily, Jez and Eaglealan for completing the British 10K run last weekend. You were all amazing! It was a great day! BTW, the Alzheimer's Society Memory Walks will take place in September this year, in many parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Here's the link for anyone wanting more info... www.memorywalk.org.uk/site/index.php

I came to England from Italy to raise money for charity together with harembee. Yesterday we flew in small aircrafts making aerobatics over lovely English countryside. Such thrilling moment when the planes roll over, complete circle, then dive. When we get down we just wanted to go back up and make all the moves again! ;D We raised £625 for Alzheimer's Association. Very worthwhile charity. I wish to do things for the other charities in time also.

Me again. My school allowed me to ask people in my year to wear green or camouflage print instead of uniforms and donate £1 for the privilege on the last day of term. 163 pupils wore something appropriate so that's £163 raised for The Rainforest Foundation. Seems that Joe joined us by wearing those camouflage print pants at Bospop! Must ask him for his £1 donation. LOL!!! ;D

Just got back from Dublin after gigging with my jazz buddies. We had a good turnout and collected £535 for Save The Children. It was a team effort with the band and the FPF going all out to fundraise. My thanks to all concerned.

Here's a photo from the RFF website which I love. It shows Ashaninka children in Peru, just one of the indigenous groups whose lives are enhanced by the work of this charity. Thanks for your contribution!
